As a club we are proud to be registered with the UK National Governing Body, British Gymnastics. What this means for you as a participant or parent/guardian is that we operate to British Gymnastics standards, from safeguarding and protection to class ratios, equipment safety and providing you with coaches that hold internationally recognised and high-quality coaching qualifications.
One of the standards British Gymnastics sets is that every member of our club, from coaches to gymnasts, must hold British Gymnastics membership at the appropriate level. Your membership fees help to support the whole gymnastics community to thrive and develop, enabling us to deliver an uplifting gymnastics experience for all. Every penny of your British Gymnastics membership fee goes back into supporting you and your sport through the work to promote it and develop the people, places, programmes, and protection that help gymnastics and everyone in it to thrive. It also provides every member with personal accident insurance cover to support you in the event of an injury – more information on the personal accident cover can be found here.
As membership is a minimum standard for British Gymnastics, unfortunately if you arrive for your class without having it in place, we will be unable to allow you take part in the session. For more information on how to complete your membership, please ask us and we will be happy to help. Alternatively, you can contact British Gymnastics on customersupport@british-gymnastics.org
