WELFARE
At Cheltenham & Gloucester Gymnastics Club, we are wholeheartedly committed to safeguarding the welfare of all participants, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding
We believe that gymnastics should be an activity that is both fun and safe, where all participants can thrive and develop their skills in a positive atmosphere. Our welfare policies are designed to protect and support gymnasts of all ages and abilities.

Enjoying Your Sport
We strive to create an environment where every gymnast feels valued and respected. Enjoyment and safety go hand in hand, and we work hard to foster a culture where everyone can enjoy their sport without fear of harm or discrimination.

Supporting Your Child:
We love that parents are passionate about their child’s gymnastics journey! Nothing makes us prouder than when we hear parents cheering on their children from the sidelines.
Competitive gymnastics, by design, is a sport which emphasises mistakes. Competitors start with a perfect execution score and judges deduct points based on technical errors and fails. When performing, gymnasts of all ages present themselves professionally with a great deal of composure and it’s easy to forget that underneath the uniform, there is a young person.
