19/07/2025 - British Aerobic Championships (AER)

What an unforgettable weekend for our CGGC NAC squad as they competed at the British Championships for the very first time! A fantastic day filled with just the right balance of nerves, excitement and determination — and the girls absolutely rose to the occasion.

In the Youth category, Matilda, Darcey & Lili delivered a brilliant performance to finish 6th, narrowly missing out on a medal by just 0.4 with a score of 13.949 — an incredible achievement on their national debut.

Isla, Anastasia and Helena followed with a confident and composed routine, scoring 13.182 to secure a very respectable 8th place.

For the Group routine, Matilda, Darcey, Isla, Anastasia and Helena joined forces to perform their routine to the hit musical Six. Despite a small error that cost them a podium spot, they finished an impressive 6th place with a score of 13.916 — showing fantastic teamwork, character and performance quality on the national stage.

We could not be prouder of every gymnast. Competing at the British Championships for the first time is a huge milestone, and these girls represented CGGC with confidence, class and determination. The future is incredibly bright for this squad 🧡🩵✨
