Cheltenham & Gloucester Gymnastics Club had an exciting outing at the Revolution FIG Tumbling Open, held at Lilleshall National Sports Centre. This event marked the first opportunity for Bettie and Corinna to challenge themselves at FIG level, and both gymnasts rose to the occasion.
The competition was notably relaxed, providing a great environment for our tumblers to showcase their skills. Both Bettie and Corinna completed their routines to FIG standards with impressive results:
Bettie: 40.30
Corinna: 40.10
In a tightly contested field, Bettie earned a well-deserved bronze medal for her performance, highlighting her talent and dedication. Corinna also demonstrated her skill with a close score, showing significant progress in her tumbling journey.
Jaydon Paddock was handing out the medals, and our gymnasts seized the opportunity to get a photo with him. Jimmy couldn't resist the opportunity to also grab a photo with Jay!
Congratulations to Bettie for her bronze medal and to both athletes for their fantastic performances! We’re proud of your achievements and excited for your continued growth in FIG competitions.
Stay tuned for more updates and successes from our talented gymnasts!
