27/09/2026 - SW Voluntary Championships (WAG)

Our Women’s Artistic Squad were back in action at the South West Voluntary Championships, competing against some of the best artistic gymnasts from across the South West region.

CGGC was represented across Silver Classic Challenge and Pre-FIG Development, with our gymnasts taking on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. At a regional championship of this level, simply stepping out to represent the club is a fantastic achievement, and there were some great performances to celebrate.

Pre-FIG Development

Beaux – Pre-FIG Development: 🥇 1st Floor, 🥉 3rd Beam

Beaux put together four strong routines to finish 4th All-Around, narrowly missing out on an All-Around medal.

Imogen – Pre-FIG Development: Imogen also represented CGGC across all four apparatus, finishing 9th All-Around in a strong regional field.

Silver Classic Challenge

Lily – Silver Classic Challenge: Lily represented CGGC in a large field of 16 gymnasts, finishing 14th All-Around, with her strongest apparatus result coming on Vault where she finished 4th.

A huge well done to Beaux, Imogen and Lily for representing CGGC at the South West Voluntary Championships. Competing against some of the best gymnasts from across the region is a fantastic experience, and we are incredibly proud of all three for taking to the competition floor and representing the club.

A special shoutout to all of our coaches and judges, without whom these competitions simply wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for giving up your time and for all the work that goes on both at competitions and behind the scenes to support our gymnasts.

Congratulations Team CGGC!
